This ministry is activated by God's instruction to provoke Israel to jealousy.

Initially, we help the Church to see that its long history of anti-Semitism is inconsistent with God's Word. Then we help motivate and equip the Church to bring the good news of Jesus to the Jewish people with open and love filled arms.

We achieve our goals through personal witness, by writing and publishing books and articles, appearing on radio and television programs, conducting seminars providing teaching tapes and videos, ministering in churches, leading trips to Israel and providing personal ministry in the United States and overseas.

SO WHY DID A 70 YEAR OLD MAN START A NEW MINISTRY?

That's a good question. And it isn't a question I haven't asked myself. After all, this is a time when I should be enjoying the fruits of a lifetime of work! Right? I should be relaxing. My wife Ethel and I should be planning vacation trips. I should be out on the golf course. After all isn't that what people my age are supposed to be doing?

If I had never become a believer and had remained in the business world, I probably would have retired long ago and been leading "the good life". But I did become a believer and did leave the business world to enter the ministry. And so my entire life changed. I most certainly do not have the money I would have had at this time in my life. But what I do have, money can't buy!

When God first called me into the ministry, He never talked to me about a retirement plan. Instead, He kept showing me how I could be refired by the power of His Holy Spirit! He revealed to me the things He wanted me to do right then and there. But He also let me know that He might be changing my instructions from time to time as I was ready for increased responsibility. And I loved being a pastor. People came to the Lord, were loved, were cared for, were taught the Word of God, were strengthened in their faith, were set free, had their marriages healed, were discipled and were equipped to do the work of the ministry.

The Word also went forth over the air waves via radio and TV. For eight years I had a daily program over WCTN in Potomac, Maryland and for four of those years also co-hosted Contact, a daily talk show, with Pastor Richard Kline. These were wonderful opportunities to teach God's Word and to minister to hundreds, indeed thousands, of believers.

But many, many more people were impacted by my book Betrayed!. It has now been translated into 29 languages and is being distributed worldwide, (helped in part by my agreeing to forego royalty payments for most of the books distributed overseas). I know that over 600,000 copies have been distributed in the former Soviet Union. Many, many thousands of copies were printed in England, France, Norway, Iceland, Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Brasil, Greece, Denmark, Holland, Australia, New Zealand and I'm told that my book in Hebrew has been reprinted many, many times and is a bestseller in Israel. It has also been translated into Indonesian and Arabic!

I've received mail from all over the world - from Jewish believers and from non-Jewish believers - who have told me how Betrayed! helped them come to faith. Many letters came in languages which I didn't understand and had to have translated, but each of them revealed the importance of my book in helping them understand who Jesus is.

And then there was TV. Because of the book, I've had a chance to preach the gospel over national television more than a dozen times in the United States, in Canada and in the Ukraine.

Then came the invitations to preach in England, Norway, Iceland, Russia, Denmark, Germany, Ukraine and Israel as well as in different cities throughout the United States.

There is no way to measure the number of people who have seen me on TV or heard me on radio. And since, on the average, at least six people share each copy of Betrayed! I have to believe that more than 10,000,000 people have been exposed to the wonderful good news about Jesus.

And I've been amazed as this has happened. When I first sat down to write Betrayed! I had two purposes in mind: first I wanted to educate the church as to why Jewish people feel as they do about Jesus, but then I also wanted to create a non threatening book which would reveal who He is.

I had no way of knowing that the questions I raised and answered in Betrayed! would be such universal questions ... that so many other people would have them too. In a way it is like "Fiddler On The Roof". Who would ever have thought that this play and movie would reach so many millions of people all over the world?

It did so because of the universality of the issues it raised. And, from a secular perspective, that is exactly what happened in Betrayed!. But from a spiritual point of view, one would have to say that since God inspired it, He also anointed it and used it for His glory.
